FERNANDO TORRES (EL NIÑO)

Fernando José Torres Sanz (born March 20, 1984, Fuenlabrada, 5 Madrid, Spain), better known as Fernando Torres 'El Nino', is a Spanish footballer. It plays as a striker and currently plays for Chelsea FC in the Premier League.
He began his career in the youth ranks at Atletico Madrid. In 2001 he debuted with the first team when he was playing in the Second Division, where he arrived to score 7 goals in 40 matches and achieve promotion to the Primera Division in Spain.
In the league scored 75 goals in 174 games. The Liverpool FC signed him in 2007, making it the most expensive footballer in the team reach británico.6 In 2007/08 season became the only player from Liverpool - from Robbie Fowler (1995/6) - to score more than twenty goals in a temporada.7 in early 2011, was signed by Chelsea FC, Liverpool which paid the amount of 50 million pounds, becoming again the most expensive transfer in football inglés.8
