GONZALO HIGUAIN (EL PIPITA)



Gonzalo Gerardo Higuain (Brest, Finistère, France, December 10, 1987) is an Argentine footballer, born in France when his father Jorge Higuain played in that country and later naturalized Argentine. Has Basque descent by paternal surname and Higuain is vasco.1 March 2 debuted professionally in Argentina's first division playing for River Plate team in football terms he served until the end of Apertura 2006.

It is the third son of the famous Argentine defender Jorge Higuain and brother of fellow footballer Federico Higuain. Born in France because his father played for the 1987-88 season in the French League, joining the ranks of Stade Brest. He left France at the age of ten months and did not return until the 1998 World Cup. Although not speak French, has a passport in this country by being born there.

He has been compared by the press with historical gunners selecting Argentina, Gabriel Omar Batistuta, Hernan Jorge Crespo.
